Amber in the Sun

lover is going away
going far away to get her some space
hair is coloured brown
amber in the sun
I woke up late and she had gone
I have no reason to worry but there is a tear in me
I am certain that I am only half
of who I'm supposed to be
wonder if I'll hold her
hold her again
believing I won't
I've already lost
tried to hide away
grew my face to hide away
she caught me with a smile
on the balcony
I have no reason to worry but there is a tear in me
I am certain that I am only half
of who I'm supposed to be
not sure but I don't see so clearly

Don't Stop Coco

Life isn’t fair
Expiration before you finish handing over
One shouldn’t care
Are there any secrets you cannot tell your counselor?
Shame and go seek
We were only children; we were just brother and sister
Hide and go peek
Mummy didn’t know Daddy had another lover
His job, his work, trying hard to make the dependency work
Coco Coco
I’m sorry, not enough try to read your mind
Don’t stop Coco
Truth or dare
Want to kiss her making up for an unpaid bill
Mirror mirror on the wall
I’m getting fat as I get older
Put in on around the waist
Wear black, hide it well, you’re not fooling anyone
Set some boundaries, I’ve got no boundaries!
Please please release me
Twelve steps, take back, rest in the unconditional love
Coco Coco
I’m sorry, not enough try to read your mind
Don’t stop Coco
His job, his work, trying hard to make the dependency work
Twelve steps, take back, rest in the unconditional love
Life isn’t fair
Expiration before you finish handing over
One shouldn’t care
Are there any secrets you cannot tell your counselor?
Shame and go seek
We were only children; we were just brother and brother
Hide and go peek
Daddy didn’t know Mummy had another lover

Andrew Ewing Perth, Australia
Born in Scotland, raised in Hong Kong, singer/songwriter Andrew Ewing moved to Western Australia as a young man in the early
'90's. A dislocated sense of home - both literally and symbolically - has haunted much of his music.
With the arrival of his debut full length album For the Love of Life you get the sense that he has finally found something like a place he can call his own.
